Prince’s Former Toronto Pad, 61 The Bridle Path – Better Dwelling

The Bridle Path is known for having over-the-top luxurious homes, so it’s no surprise that when Prince and his ex-wife Manuella Testolini decided to live in Toronto from 2001-2006, they settled here. The former residence is a 14,280 sq. ft. bungalow located at 61 The Bridle Path, and despite media reports that it “just hit the market” has been listed since 2014 at the same price. So if you’re looking for a price cut, I wouldn’t expect it to happen anytime soon. The current listing agent is Victor Brewda and he is asking $12,788,000. That surprisingly isn’t a premium since the house down the street at 14 The Bridle Path is listed for $14M.
The massive 6 bedroom, 10 bathroom property has skylights throughout, and has been cleverly laid out so that almost every room walks out to the garden – a little awkward when you realize some of toilets have garden views, but nothing that can’t be fixed with a little window tinting or strategically placed curtains.
As you would probably guess from a crib Prince lived in, the bedroom is the best room in the house. A dramatic entryway leads to a massive suite with a garden walk-out, a master closet with direct access to the huge, marble-clad ensuite bath, complete with sunken tub.
The rest of the place is equally schmancy, with highlights being the cook’s kitchen, an in-house dressing room, and a pink-zebra carpeted billiard room (are you really surprised?). The backyard features perfectly manicured gardens, a pool, a heated cabana with wet bar, and a tennis court.
Or, you know… wait for your bank’s economist to repeat the insights next week. Whateves.

That must look wacky in an aerial, 14,000 square foot BUNGALOW‽
That’s a pricey place. I guess it must be so expensive because the lot would have to be huge.
